Earlier I have mentioned that so many people died in Lubaczow under WWI. Was it disease or because of of the war? I do not know.
One couple, Samuel and Cypra TEMPELMAN, lived in Krowica.
Samuel TEMPELMAN , born ca 1874, was the son of Liepa TEMPELMAN and Zysla Suessla nee ROSENFELD.
Samuel's wife, CYPRA, born ca 1883, was the daughter of Samuel SCHNECK and Lieba nee KORN.
They may have married around 1901, when Cypra was 18 years old.
They had at least three children:
Leibisch TEMPELMAN born ca 1902
Mincza TEMPELMAN born ca 1912
Selda TEMPELMAN born ca 1914
Perhaps additional children born between 1903 to 1911?
Through the Lubaczow Death Register, we see the deaths of four of these family members in 1915:
First three year old Mincza died, and then one year old Selda.
After her two daughters had died, the mother Cypra died, 32 years old.
In the same year, the son Leibisch, 13 years old, died.
Four years later, in 1919, the father, Samuel TEMPELMAN, 45 years old , died.
His grave has been located on Row 27, Grave 15.
In the future it would be important to photograph that gravestone and read the text.
