The Road between the Jewish and the Christian Cemetery

The Road between the Jewish and the Christian Cemetery

According to my numbering , Row 44 is the last row.

Between this row and the road now leading from the Christian funeral chapel to the street, today there is a metal fence towards the Jewish cemetery.

The  original cemetery wall built around 1930 was not here but to the left of the road  - now seen as a low concrete wall in this photo.

In this photo from 1964, you see the original cemetery wall in the background, dividing the Jewish cemetery from the Christian cemetery behind the wall.

The graves in the front  in this photo are from Row 41, according to my numbering.
