Double graves - two names on one gravestone

Eight gravestones with double graves have been located in Lubaczow.

COUPLES

Sydonia and Szawel FRIESER / FRISER. He died in 1919.

Debora and  Leisor MANBER. She died on Feb 13th 1926. He died on July 2nd 1926.

MOTHER AND DAUGHTER

Laja Ester PFLANZER nee REINFELD died on Dec 9th 1928, age 88, and her daughter Sara ROTTER died on Feb 9th 1929, age 63.


FATHER AND SON

After the parents and two of their children were murdered in 1931, the father Abraham Moses SEIFER, age 60, and his son Jakob SEIFER, age 16, were buried in the same grave. So far I have not located the grave/s of the mother Chana (Chuwe?)  SEIFER nee SAUERBRUN, 58 years old and the daughter Debora SEIFER, 18 years old.


BROTHERS

Moses SPINDEL died on Oct 16th 1920, age 18. His brother Josef died on Oct 26th, age 13. 

Meilech WEICHHOLZ died on March 19th 1927, age 23. His brother Rafael WEICHHOLZ died on June 6th 1927, age 22.


UNKNOWN RELATIONSHIP

Around August / September 1854 two men died and were buried in a double grave. In this case we do not have any family names, and the fathers' names are different. Were they cousins or an uncle and a nephew? The two were Arie Leib, son of Shlomo, and Yitzchak Jona, son of Abraham Avish/ai.

There is a Page of Testimony submitted in 1999  for Aaron Herzberg, the son of Marcus "Moti"  and Sima Herzberg. According to this,  Aaron Herzberg was born around 1890 - 1892, so  my initial estimate was that his mother was  born around 1860 - 1870. The Page mentions that Sima's maiden name was FEDER. She was born around 1860.

We may assume that Marcus "Moti" (Mordechai) HERTZBERG had died before 1936. He could have been born around 1855 - 1860.

From the Pages of Testimony submitted, the family tree included at least these three sons:

Aaron HERZBERG, born  1889 , was married to Fradel FEDER from Narol  and they had  one child Israel "Srulik" HERZBERG.

This family lived in Lubaczow .

Moses HERZBERG, born around  1893, was married to Sara SCHUSS, and they lived in Debice with their 4 children. Two of the children were: Samuel "Shmuel" born ca 1926 and David  born ca 1928, both in Debice.

Efraim Hersh HERZBERG, born around 1895, was married to Chaja Klara BRENNER from Cieszanow. The couple had two sons -  Eli Eliyahu born around 1926/1927 and Manek born around 1927/1928. This family lived in Lubaczow.

These are the photos of the gravestone of Yehushua / Ozjasz Klein I took in May 2013. 

The stone itself is redish, and the text does not stand out clear.

The text is in Hebrew, as is customary, but at the very base of the stone the name is written in Latin letters.

According to Pages of Testimony submitted by Mr. Lerer, the couple Pinchas and Ester Klein and their children  became Holocaust victims.  Pinchas Klein was born around 1895. His father's name is not mentioned on the Page of Testimony. Pinchas Klein was a wood merchant.

Could Pinchas KLEIN have been a son of Ozjasz Klein?

Josef WIDMAN and his wife Beila Pesla WIDMAN had a daughter they named Gitla. She was born around 1892.

Their daughter Gitla married Jakob SCHWARZ,  but died in 1917, only 25 years old.
