I am not quite sure what the connection is between Frida HOFFMAN and Maurie / Moshe HOFFMAN, but I decided to mention Maurie HOFFMAN's family here.
It seems to be a possibility that Frida HOFFMAN was Maurie HOFFMAN's paternal grandmother.
Maurie HOFFMAN was born in Lubaczow and wrote the book "Keep Yelling!" about his childhood in Lubaczow before the war, and then what happened to him and his closest family during the Holocaust.
His parents were David and Regina HOFFMAN who both were murdered in Lubaczow in 1943.
His brother Chaskel HOFFMAN, an engineer, was shot in Lubaczow in 1941.
His brother Leib HOFFMAN died in 1945.
His sisters Ester HOFFMAN and Malka HOFFMAN both died in the bunker in 1943 in Lubaczow where the family had been hiding.
Maurie Moshe HOFFMAN escaped, joined the partisans and survived the Holocaust.
