A family tragedy from 1915:
Chaim SCHMIDT, born around 1882 was married to Rifka SCHMIDT nee HERZBERG, born ca 1885.
We do not know what year they married,  and how many children they had, but in the year 1915 when so many died in Lubaczow, the SCHMIDT family  first lost two of their sons and then the mother:
On July 11th 1915 died Mendel SCHMIDT who was a year and six months at the time.
On July 25th 1915 died Moses SCHMIDT, eight years old.
On September 13th 1915 died Rifka SCHMIDT, only 30 years old.
