In Mlodow, next to Lubaczow, in the year 1931 four persons from one family was murdered:
Abraham Moses SEIFER born ca 1870
His wife Chana (Chuwa) SAUERBRUN born ca 1873
Their daughter Debora SEIFER born ca 1913
Their son Jakob SEIFER born ca 1915
The father and the son were buried together, under one gravestone.
I have not located the gravestone of the mother and the daughter.
Was this the whole family?
From the marriage register I found they had a son in 1890 they named Benjamin, who in 1920 had married Sara Lea SCHLAF, born in 1895. That means that Benjamin's mother was only around 17 when he was born. Because the gravestone says that Abraham Moses SEIFER's father was named Benjamin we understand that his father had died before 1890. Jakob's decoration is a broken tree, his father a bookcase with holy books.
I imagine that Abraham Moses and Sara Lea had married with a rabbi in 1895, perhaps in 1894.
The couple also had a son they named Dawid. He died as a one year old.
What happened to Benjamin and Sara Lea SEIFER?
Did they emigrate?
Did they have children?
What happened to the family during the Holocaust?
