Notes
|
On gravestone Moshe, in death register Majer.
"Unmarried young man" This could fit a man of 30. When this person died, his father was still alive, according to the gravestone ( נ"י ) Juda KRESEN died in 1938. ROW 3, GRAVE 7. Group Two: Death register |
A puzzle:
According to the gravestone Moshe Josef , son of Juda ( father still alive at the time of his son's death), died on Tevet 29th 5691 ( Jan 17th or 18th 1931).
According to the Death Register Majer Josef KRESEN, born around 1901, the son of Juda KRESEN died on Jan 17th 1931. His father Juda KRESEN died later in 1938.
But why Majer Jozef in the civilian death registry and Moshe Josef on the gravestone?
