From my tiny knowledge of Polish, Zlate is something like gold, so this could perhaps be a kinnui (nickname) based on another kinnui, namely Golda.

From the death register we see a family tragedy unfold:

In May 1928 Zlata and her husband Berisch ABERBACH's daughter Gitla, four and a half months old, died.

In March 1929 Zlata herself died, only forty years old.

In March 1930 Zlata and Berisch ABERBACH's son Moses Samson died, four years old.


There was a Hersch ABERBACH who married Fradel SCHWEBEL. She was born in Lubaczow in 1868. She was the daughter of Josef SCHWEBEL and Chaja Feige SCHREIBER. A rough estimate may be that Josef and Chaja Feige were born around 1840.

From the death register we find two women born SCHWEBEL who were born around the same time as Josef SCHWEBEL. Is there any family connection?
We don't know, but here are the two women:

Ester FEDER nee SCHWEBEL, daughter of Jacob Hersch and Perla SCHWEBEL, was born around 1837 and died in 1917.

Mirla FISCHLER nee SCHWEBEL, daughter of Eisig and Reizla SCHWEBEL, was born around 1845, and died in 1915.
Their graves have not been located.
