Decoration: Bookcase

Personally, I find the bookcases used as decorations very special. These were men who devoted their lives to studying Jewish texts and their families wanted to honor that.

Lower shelf :  Six books

The number of books certainly hold meaning.
As I am writing this during Pesach, the song "Echad mi yodea", at least reminds me of

Six are the books of the  Mishnah
Five are the books of the Torah

Just like what seems to be individual designs for the candlabrums of the women, the bookcases also show a great variety. There are different decorations on the top, and on the glass doors, and the feet of the bookcase are also often drawn in very carefully.
I read that the open glass doors  symbolize  wisdom.

These were the wise devoted scholars of Lubaczow.
