A plague ("magefa" in Hebrew) in Lubaczow in the summer of 1855?

On Row 37, Grave 15 is the grave of a “young man” who on July 24th 1855, according to the text on the stone,  “died  in a plague / of a contagious disease” – “magefa” in Hebrew.


What kind of contagious disease? According to the deaths listed below, this seems to have happened in July and August 1855.
